Thanksgiving was probably the most exciting day for me in ministry this year. There were 19
families that CHURCH52 was able to give a full blown meal to that would not have
had a Thanksgiving other wise. My heart was full as people came together to
prepare these boxes for families. Being able to GIVE at Thanksgiving makes the Holiday so much more special.
I am learning more and more that Life’s
greatest rewards are not in the things we acquire…. They are in the lives we
change… With the Lords help - I desire that we - CHURCH52 -
change lives with the love and service of Christ – giving them a hope and
opportunity for greater days. Jeremiah 29:11 says "For I know the plans I have for you,
declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
We have learned that the rewards in life come through giving… not receiving. GIVE a little bit of your time to someone today. GIVE
a little of yourself to someone today. You never know what life will be
changed because of your GIVING. The rewards are now and eternal…
