Today I am writing about something that has really been weighing on my heart lately. It's not a fun topic to discuss, but something that I hope people will read, then take it to further thought, prayer, and on to life application.
When we get together with friends, or any group of people really, we all try to have a good time. We like to laugh... we like to make others laugh... we like to feel accepted. Unfortunately, often times we go too far... we cross the line... we say or do things that a Christian has no business saying or doing. We have our filter turned off and allow things to get through that should not. I told you this wouldn't be a fun topic :), but stay with me...

Throughout my life, I have seen God show Himself faithful over and over again. I saw it growing up in a pastor's home... God was always faithful to provide... faithful to heal... faithful to answer our prayers. Since Kelly and I have been married, we have experienced the same thing. Through the majority of our married life, we struggled financially and have really just begun to move forward in that in the last couple of years. Although we often wondered how everything was going to get paid, one way or another, God always brought us what we needed. We didn't have an abundance, but we always had enough to make it.

We chose a physical therapist based on a suggestion of another family member and I have now been to see her about 4 times. Since these visits, I have begun to see some improvements in my symptoms which is great! I'm not out of the woods yet, but at least making progress. These therapy visits have provoked a thought that I wanted to share...

Over the last two months now, I have been dealing with some health issues that seemingly came out of nowhere. Most of my life has been outside the walls of the doctor's office... having very few trips there. Until recently, I could not have even told you my doctor's name because I had only been one time since moving back to Indiana! While I and many other people have been praying and believing, at this point I still have only vague answers or ideas and no relief from my symptoms. Obviously this has brought frustration and caused me to think more on this topic of healing.
