Carlos Inocencio

In January 2011, Carlos Inocencio and his lovely wife Mariaelena joined Church52 as team Pastors. With a strong passion for seeing God's love expressed within the local community, they join us in fulfilling the God given mission of Church52 in the areas of Men's Ministries and Hispanic Ministries.
Born and raised in Ft. Worth, Texas, God moved the Inocencios to Indianapolis in 1993. Since that time, they have been very active in Hispanic Ministry. They served as leaders for the Spanish Sidewalk Sunday School, were established as Lay Pastors for the Spanish small group and served as leaders and lay pastors for Conexión, the Hispanic Ministry of Calvary Temple of Indianapolis.
Pastor Carlos has a passion to live a transparent and authentic life, imperfections and all. He believes that "It is in a real person that God can be glorified." Walking with his fellow brothers and sisters in Christ through any circumstance is where you will see Pastor Carlos' heart truly shine. He has a heart for Men's Ministry as well as the Hispanic Community. While heading up the Hispanic ministry of Church52 "Encendido" his desire is to see God's Spirit move among the Hispanic community of Indianapolis. This is also complimented by his desire to develop a group of men who challenge one another to be the best men they can be in Christ. As a result, he is also heading up "The Rock", the men's ministry of Church52.
Mariaelena has the heart of a servant. Over the past 16 years Mariaelena has filled many roles in addition to wife and mother. She has served as secretary of the Youth, Children's and Assistant Pastors at Calvary Temple. She has also enjoyed ministering in the areas of youth leader, translator and lay pastor. Often she is thought of as rather quiet, but don't be fooled; she is a wise woman observing the situation and seeking the heart of God in it to identify where and how He will use her. For the past eight years her life has been busy in the role of mother to her three children, but she now finds herself in a place where God is ready to use her in a new way. Mariaelena's cry is "Here I am, Lord, use me."
